The Vector CANape MC3/MATLAB Interface is an add-on that links Vector’s CANape measurement and calibration environment with MATLAB and Simulink. It enables engineers to automate CANape workflows, exchange live data, and calibrate ECU parameters directly from MATLAB scripts or Simulink models. Designed for the MC3 license class of CANape, the interface streamlines model-based development, rapid prototyping, and data analysis across XCP/CCP-based measurement and calibration tasks.

Key capabilities:

• Bidirectional data exchange: Stream signals between CANape and MATLAB/Simulink for real-time visualization, stimulus generation, and closed-loop experiments.
• Automated control: Start/stop measurements, manage configurations, and run calibration sequences from MATLAB using CANape’s automation interfaces.
• ECU calibration: Read and write ECU parameters and characteristics defined in A2L (ASAP2), leveraging CANape’s XCP/CCP support.
• Measurement data handling: Record, load, and process MDF (ASAM MDF) files and convert results for MATLAB-based analysis and reporting.
• Time synchronization: Maintain consistent timestamps and synchronization across measurements and models for reliable correlation and replay.
• Integration with Vector toolchain: Use alongside Vector hardware and CANape options to scale from desktop experiments to in-vehicle and test-bench scenarios.
